The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Oconee Vacation

What a great spring break vacation with my parents and Elizabeth! I was so happy to be there with them on their trip because my classes are all virtual. We had a delightful week at the Ritz Carlton Lake Oconee. My parents and Elizabeth went a couple of years ago for spring break and stayed in the hotel but for this trip we stayed in one of their two bedroom, two and a half bath cottages. It was beautiful and renovations had just been finished the week before we arrived! The decor was navy and white with a charming porch across the back overlooking the golf course and a side porch. The little kitchenette and two living rooms were charming! We loved the space, the privacy and the hammock in the back.

We had a nice balance of activities and relaxation. Lake Oconee has many great golf courses and is home to the Taylor Made Kingdom of Golf. We took advantage of this by getting some golf lessons as a family. We also relaxed by the pool, swam laps in the peaceful indoor pool and enjoyed the spa. One of my favorite parts was the pontoon boat ride and riding the jet skis on the gorgeous lake. We had great dinners together with fun conversation and always lots of laughs!!
