Shop the Nordstrom Sale with me!

Ever since we were little, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is a mid-July field trip when my sisters, my Mom and I would shop for fall and winter clothes. This year was reminiscent of those days, with lunch and a shopping day with my Mom at the sale!

We even made a stop in the children's department at a floor tile I made at Nordstrom when I was about eight years old. Of course it is a handbag!

We were greeted at the entrance of the store with a profusion of yellow flowers in vases, an adorable coffee station and boxed snacks and water. A DJ was playing upbeat music and their was a festive air about the place.

We headed to our dressing room with handfuls of items and had a great time trying on outfits, combining looks and perusing the great sale items. There are quite a few good finds and I thought that trying everything on and bringing you along was a great way to showcase this year's Nordstrom sale items I liked. Many of the items, like the Veronica Beard pieces sold out quickly, but there are many good pieces available. I really liked the work pieces - great pants and tops that can be layered under a blazer or with a sweater. There are items for beauty and home as well!
