Welcome 2022!

Happy 2022 everyone! I hope you all had a healthy and fun New Years Eve! We celebrated cozy at home perched by the fireplace! We enjoyed sipping Veuve before dinner with appetizers. We ate beef bourguignon for dinner and pot de creme au chocolat for dessert!  My Mom has made this delicious dessert for years. It is simple and soooo good. She serves them in the cutest dessert cups with a lid. I have included the recipe and the cups with lids below so you can make it this winter!
Each year my sisters and I write down our New Year's resolutions and keep them handy all year to see what we have accomplished. We have them from every year and it is fun to look back at all our accomplishments.
This year a few of my resolutions include:
-Grow and expand emilyOandbows
-Read more books
-Spend less time on my phone
-Be active

Pot de Creme au Chocolat Recipe
4 oz german sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup cream
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Combine chocolate, sugar and cream in saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and mixture becomes smooth and blended. Remove from heat; slowly pour into eye yolks, stirring constantly. Blend in vanilla. Pour into small serving dishes; chill. Serve with whipped cream and raspberries on the side. 4-6 servings.

January is also one of my favorite times to get organized. I have cleaned out my closet, jewelry box, bathroom cabinets and my closet. Here are some of my favorite re-fresh items for 2022!

I also like January because it is a great time to focus on health and wellness. I have been trying to mix up my workout routine and take time for self care. For motivation I found some new products I thought you would like to see as we start the new year!
